Amber is recognised for her fine detailed realism and strong contrasting light. She is a qualified signwriter from back in the days when they use brush and paint, giving her great brush skills and an eye for detail.

Amber progressed from watercolours to acrylics and now mostly works in oils

She challenges herself with each painting to create that "you can almost touch" factor.

As well as painting for several Galleries in Auckland and doing private commissions she teaches adults at Kumeu Art Centre.
