Gus Milne - is a scrimshander based in Canterbury. He has been practising the ‘whalers art’ for over 40 years, working entirely by hand, etching with a blade and a sharpened needle. He works mainly on re-cycled ivory piano keys, extinct mammoth ivory and whale’s teeth, sourced sustainably.
