Hello, I'm Hayley, a Christchurch based artist with a background in design. My creative process derives inspiration from a number of places, particularly the vast natural beauty of New Zealand.
I love to create pieces that stem from simple forms and demonstrate elegance with impact. My current artworks are reverse painted on perspex and have a particular focus on showcasing the detail within simple aspects of nature. By painting on the reverse side of the medium, I exploit the interplay of light and shadow infusing each piece with a unique depth and detail.
