Lynn Blann

My artistic journey comes via Elam, NZ college of fashion , and Architectural Design connections.

Living in Auckland in the 1970's was vibrant and innovative, driven by the Peace, Anti War, Womans and Maori rights movements inspiring musicians , writers, poets and artists to exhibit and perform.

During this time while working as a professional musicians, I frequented the Barry Lett Art Gallery, which was an inspirational space, featuring works by then emerging artists including Hanly, McCahon, Twiss, Ellis, Driver etc.

It is my close connection to this culture that has always inspired me to paint.

You can find me on Instagram: LynnBlann Visual and Audion artistry.

All my present paintings come from my "This burning earth" series that relate to the issues that challenge us today.
