I am an artist who has lived in the northern Wellington Suburbs for a number of years. Originally I was trained in Graphic Design, I started illustrating during the covid lockdown of 2020. I experimented with both colour and ink pens but eventually decided to concentrate on monochrome imagery. The fineline pens I use allow for highly detailed illustrations with depth and personality.  My illustrations utilise my own photography (with permission of others photography being credited) and to date I have completed a number of commissions for clients in the Wellington region.

The artwork I have on display reflects my love of the native fauna and flora of New Zealand. The reference photographs have been captured using a digital Sony SLR camera from both the North and South islands.
