Mariska De Jager

As a full-time ceramic sculptor based in Cambridge, I've always been intrigued by the human form and its imperfections. Each face narrates a unique story - fear, despair, love, hope, anxiety, and dreams. I'm drawn to the intricate lines of the eyes and the ever-changing expressions of the mouth.

Through my art, I strive to capture these emotions, inviting viewers to connect with the feelings I convey, rooted in my own life experiences.

I'm a devoted spouse and a parent of two, having immigrated from South Africa 15 years ago. My studio, nestled in the scenic Whitehall area, is where I bring my artistic visions to life.
